How blocks pay

PPLNS Pool

Shared rewards across recent work. Paid to you in each block's coinbase — no pool wallet.

2.5% Fee

Solo Mining

Keep the block you find (minus the 2% fee), paid straight to your address in the coinbase.

2.0% Fee

TIDES (DATUM)

0.00% Fee

Paid from the block's coinbase — no pool wallet, no fee. Set up with Forge Gateway or Forge Solo in TIDES mode, on your own BCH2 node.

How TIDES works

How it works

Your choices travel in the connection: the username is your address, and the password carries your mode (m=pplns or m=solo) and any fixed difficulty (d=...). Nothing is saved on the pool and there is no password to invent — the only address you are ever paid at is the one you mine as, straight from each block's coinbase.
